Job description
OR RN First Assistant -

• Minimum 2 years' Operating Room experience required along with BSN degree and completion of an RNFA program that meets AORN standards.
• Must be able to assist on robotics or ortho joints.
• Orthopedic cases, plastic joint replacement and robotics will be majority of the hospital cases and candidate must have expereince and be comfortable with this.
• Please DO NOT submit OR RNs who have not completed an RNFA program.
• CNOR, ACLS highly preferred.
• Must have active PA state or compact license at time of submission.
• Both covid and flu vaccine are required; medical and/or religious exemptions are accepted with proper documentation.

• Call is approximately 1 weekend call every 8 weeks (Saturday and Sunday).
• Weekday call is usually 1-2 per week (work with call from 1) or (work 0 with call 1).
• These call and schedule requirements are not adjustable.
• Please do not submit candidates who are not willing to meet these requirements. No 3x12 shifts allowed.
• All time off must be included on the coversheet.
• No RTO will be approved after submission or offer.
