Duration: 1 year contract (6-month base, 6-month extension)
Our partner supporting the Veterans Health Administration is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technician to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional patient care through advanced imaging services.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray equipment to capture images.
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results.
- Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Adhere to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Educate patients on procedures.
- Pursue ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or certification in radiologic technology.
- Valid state licensure as an X-Ray Technician (AART-R).
- Active BLS certification (AHA)
Medasource Job ID. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
