Housekeeping Assistant

Location: GL1 3NNStart date: ASAPContract duration: 3+ monthsWorking hours: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:00, 37 hours p/w
Pay rate: 12.00 p/h

As a Housekeeping Assistant, your duties will include:

• To clean all communal areas in multi occupied accommodation as per cleaning specification
• To dispose of domestic refuse where applicable.
• To clean and make ready for occupation vacant rooms, flats or houses as per cleaning specification as and when requested.
• To clean designated occupied flats as per cleaning specification where applicable.
• To clean all sanitary ware where applicable.
• To clean the Accommodation Office as per specification as and when required.
• Keep store cupboards and trolleys safe and tidy.

Skills and experience:

• Effective communication in English- ability to understand and follow Health and Safety, and cleaning product instructions and information.
• Previous experience of cleaning or housekeeping. Ideally this will be within a commercial environment (eg hotel or shared accommodation).
