Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Cartersville, Georgia.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year - Unit accepts first time travelers

PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics, avg daily census 28
RATIO: 1:4/5
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
Diagnoses: CHF, STEMI, NSTEMI, renal, pulmonary, trauma, stroke, TIA. Anything not unstable enough to require ICU but not stable enough for med surg.
Special Procedures: peritoneal dialysis, CPAP, BIPAP, EKG monitoring, stress test, cardiac caths, TR bands. We also handle medication infusions like amiodarone, cardene, carodarone, milrinone, insulin, 3% saline, nitroglycerin, dopamine, dobutamine, lasix, heparin, and TPN.
Required Skills/Certs: BLS, ACLS, Epic
Interpretation of dysrhythmias

Telemetry -on the unit monitoring
Telemetry- remote monitoring
Post Cardiac Angiogram
Post MI
Pre/Post Cardiac Cath

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:
RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not Guaranteed
Holiday RTO cannot be requested, however No one works all the major holidays unless they request to do so.
WEEKENDS: Weekends are required for unit coverage. Sometimes it is not every other, can be split for coverage.
FLOATING: Float to other departments as needed to cover facility

COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time, if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
