Job Summary and QualificationsA Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) who renders individualized comprehensive nursing care to meet the patients physical, psychological, spiritual, social, cultural and educational needs. The Critical Care Float Pool RN provides the best possible preventative, supportive, and rehabilitative nursing care to each patient based upon the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. The Float Department RN functions under the oversight and direction of the Nursing Supervisor. Assignment responsibilities with full patient assignment will be specific to critical care patients in ICU, Intermediate Care Unit, or Emergency Room.
